My wife and I would like to thank Rubinstein office for assistance with our personal injury case. We had a lot of problems negotiating on our own, but received a great result after retaining RLO.
Thank you for help with Allstate!
“I would like to say thank you from all of our family not only for your professionalism, but also for the sensitive approach to our problem..."
“I want to thank you for all your hard work… I will recommend you always”
Washington State Pedestrian/Bicyclist Injury: Washington Has Not Gotten Safer
According to a study conducted by the National Highway Transit Safety Association (NHTSA), Washington pedestrians and bicyclists are no safer than they were in 1998. The study was nationwide and had some startling revelations.
For instance, most accidents happen to men (79%), in urban areas (69%), between the hours of 5pm and 9pm (28%), at intersections (64%) in June (9%) and September (12%). Alcohol was involved in 37% of accidents.
In 2008, 521 pedestrians in Washington were killed and 6,549 people injured while riding their bicycles, for an average of 1.67 injuries per million people.
This is well below the US average of 2.53, which is surprising, given how many bicyclists fill the busy streets of Seattle and Bellevue.
